Hillary Scott Considers Her Marriage and Family Life After Almost 13 Years
Known for her part in the country music group Lady A, Hillary Scott is commemorating almost 13 years of marriage to Chris Tyrrell. The pair will celebrate this milestone in January, and Scott is incredibly thoughtful about their shared experience.
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Scott, 38, said, “I think it’s so interesting how we really do balance each other out so well. We will have been married 13 years in January.” The artist, who recently recorded the holiday single “Hard to Wait for Christmas” with her daughter, Eisele Kaye, age 11, conveyed her sincere appreciation for her husband and their collaboration. “The appreciation I have in my
heart for him, our marriage, and our current situation, but also for what is ahead? I am extremely grateful that he picked me.Scott and Tyrrell are occupied with raising their three girls, Eisele, age 11, and the twins, Betsy and Emory, ages 6. Nevertheless, they prioritize spending quality time together in order to foster their relationship.
Scott said, “We try to have a date night at least once a month,” before to her December 5 performance at the Grand Ole Opry’s Opry Country Christmas. We go out and meet with a small group of couples twice a month. Sometimes that’s all we need, and the travel there and back takes forty minutes. For us, the journey, supper, and simply conversing are very memorable times.
In anticipation of their January 2025 anniversary, the couple intends to take a vacation to Colorado for introspection and planning. We are at a point in our lives where we must decide what we want to do. What goals do we hope to achieve during the next ten to twenty years? Scott made a joke about the video, saying, “It feels like the most representative of our house every day, just the dance party.” It’s just like us when one of the girls is riding a scooter and another is roller skating around the house.
