Trump commended the 19-year-old McNabb for her bravery in raising awareness of the value of preserving women’s sports. He declared his intention to stop government money for any school that allows transgender athletes to compete against biological females and reaffirmed his commitment to making sure that biological males are not permitted to compete in female athletic divisions. Republicans greeted his comments with thunderous applause, but Democrats said nothing.
McNabb Is Disappointed with the Response from Democrats
