AMBER WILD, the band led by Evan Stanley, the son of Paul Stanley of KISS, formed in January 2023 with a single objective in mind: to create the music they want. The perfect blend of old and new can be found in the raw vocals, thunderous drumming, and ferocious guitars that are filtered through a myriad of influences.
AMBER WILD made their festival debut at this year’s Aftershock in Sacramento after spending the year honing their sound on the Los Angeles club scene.
Now that the group’s double-A side debut song “Breakout // Silver” has been released, October is looking to be a great month for the group. On October 19, which is also the first date of AMBER WILD’s run serving as KISS’s direct support act on their “End Of The Road” tour in the United States, these songs will be released to the public. And even though KISS’s career may be over, AMBER WILD’s is only getting started.
“Silver” is a lullaby for a specific time. It’s deciding to just lean in and give yourself completely over after realising you’re in something deeper than you anticipated.
You can write music you want to and songs you have to.
The latter is “Breakout”.
Evan recalled: “A long back, I had this sensation that everything and everyone was pressing in on me and squeezing until there was nothing left of me. I had almost completely lost my sense of direction. Writing “Breakout” was my method of pushing back because losing that connection as an artist is a pretty terrifying thing.
Evan Stanley was born in Los Angeles, California, and has spent his whole life living on the edge of several different worlds. As a child, he divided his time between going to school, travelling the world with his father’s band KISS, and working as a delivery boy for his neighbourhood deli. Stanley relocated back to Los Angeles to pursue a music career after finishing school and living in New York for a while.
