A picture of Savannah and Nic holding hands and grinning on a beach has the caption, “Heaven gained the most beautiful angel today,” written across it. “I love you and I miss you,” I’ll keep our final “I love you” message forever. Send me some sort of signal that you’re ok. Perhaps through a ham and cheese pancake, white pasta or even your favourite carrot cake’, says the speaker.

We loved deeply, she said at the end of her note. And I can’t wait to go bike riding with you on heaven’s beaches.

Savannah’s message was sent hours after TMZ broke the news of 29-year-old Nic’s passing. The crash involving the former NHL player occurred early on September 23 in a neighborhood in Nashville, Tennessee, according to the outlet. His motorbike supposedly collided with the driver’s side of a BMW, causing injuries serious enough for him to pass away shortly after at a local hospital.

Nic shared a picture of himself riding the Indian bike on his Instagram account just hours before the alleged collision. He captioned it, “Night rider.” On September 1, he also published a lovely and heartfelt piece with pictures of himself with his family and a nice message of thanks.

I needed to go home this past weekend and spend time with my family more than I realised, he wrote. “In this world, the days pass by more quickly and quickly. I make a commitment to never take them for granted again, and I have the same advice for everyone else. In this world, it is difficult to find unconditional love. I’m extremely appreciative that my parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews reciprocate my love in the same way.

Savannah and Nic began dating in 2017; he even made an appearance on Savannah’s family’s reality show, Chrisley Knows Best, before Nic’s tragic demise. From then until 2020, when she decided to call it quits on the relationship, they were engaged.”I believe that we got engaged for entirely the wrong reasons. When he proposed, I realised it shouldn’t have been happening,” she allegedly said, according to TMZ. “It was filmed, and it aired on television. His family and mine were both there. That is not how I would have wanted things to go.
