This month’s international events are announced by Qatar Tourism.
The most recent issue of the Qatar Tourism monthly Qatar Calendar guide is jam-packed with some of the major events of the year, including the Geneva International Motor Show Qatar, Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix 2023, and Expo 2023 Doha.
Along with notable sporting events, October will also feature notable trade shows, concerts, and foreign art exhibitions that collectively cater to a variety of tastes and interests and are appropriate for audiences of all ages.
Sheikha Noor Abdulla Al Thani, acting Director of Tourism Events and Festivals Organising Section at Qatar Tourism, commented on the exciting schedule for this month, saying: “Qatar is a centre for international, world-class events, which will clearly be highlighted in this next calendar of events in October. The events showcase Qatar’s dedication to building first-rate sporting facilities, concert halls, museums, and green spaces that enrich the leisure and entertainment experience while concurrently taking place at some of the country’s most complex sites.
Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) will host the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) from October 5 to October 14.
The expo will feature 31 prominent automakers on more than 10,000m2 at the Doha expo and Convention Centre (DECC), including Toyota, Lexus, Porsche, Volkswagen, Lamborghini, BMW, KIA, Audi, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, Vinfast, Chery, and many more.
The ultimate automotive festival of automotive excellence in Qatar will be created by GIMS Qatar 2023 in addition to the main exhibition, with four immersive experiences taking place at some of the most well-known tourist hotspots in the nation.
The Lusail International Circuit will host the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix from October 6 to 8, 2023.

From October 2, 2023, until March 28, 2024, Expo 2023 Doha will be held at Al Bidda Park.
With the Expo 2023 Doha taking place over the vast grounds of Al Bidda Park, Qatar will host the first A1 international horticultural Expo in the MENA area. The event, which is expected to bring together thought leaders and industry thinkers, will shed light on how we can improve the environment and expand our economy in a way that includes more green places. Expo 2023 Doha will provide visitors with an unrivaled opportunity to see Qatar over its six-month run.
On October 10 and 11, the Ritz-Carlton Doha Hotel will host the Arab Fintech Forum.
The Arab Fintech Forum, which will be held in Doha and focus on the opportunities and problems facing the global fintech ecosystem, will be a treat for tech fans.
October 22 through November 3: M7 Pop-Up at M7, Msheireb Downtown Doha.
